Braskem America A-100

Braskem America A-100 is a thermoplastic hydrocarbon resin C9 obtained through catalytic polymerization of hydrocarbons in a continuous process. These light yellow pellets exhibit hydrophobic characteristics and are compatible with various solvents and polymeric materials. In rubber applications, A-100, also known as Unilene, enhances processability, filler incorporation, dispersion, and adhesion, preventing elastomer degradation and reducing preparation time. In Solvent and Hot Melt adhesives, this resin promotes excellent adhesion, cohesion, open time, and water repellency.

Packaging Information

The resins are supplied in 25 ± 0.2 kg polyethylene bags and are supplied in pellet format.

Storage & Handling

Shelf Life
2 years
Recommended Storage & Handling Conditions

Hydrocarbon resins have thermoplastic characteristics, they can agglomerate when subjected to high temperatures and/or under pressure (stacking). It is recommended to store the product in a fresh place, free from direct sunlight, moisture and without stacking the pallets, also avoiding direct contact with the soil.
