UTEC® is an Ultra-High Molecular Weight Polyethylene (UHMWPE) product line manufactured exclusively by Braskem. UTEC’s molecular weight is about 10 times greater than High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) resins and its density makes finished parts approximately eight times lighter than steel. This extremely high molecular weight provides UTEC with several outstanding properties, such as: high abrasion wear resistance, high impact resistance, and very low coefficient of friction that makes the material self-lubricating.

UTEC can be used for a vast array of applications in the following industries: construction, agriculture, material handling, transportation, textile, pulp and paper, food and beverage, mining, marine, porous plastics, oil and gas, high performance fibers, battery separators and waste water treatment.

UTEC is sold in powder form with products spanning a range of molecular weights and particle sizes. The molecular weight begins in the low range (3 million g/mol) and extends to a high range (7 to 10 million g/mol).

INSPIRE polypropylene deliver products with high output rates and significantly improved bubble stability and drawdown capabilities. These products are well-suited for air-quench blown film process.

Braskem INSPIRE 6025N Polypropylene Homopolymer (HPP) high performance resin is a high crystalline nucleated homopolymer with exceptional stiffness and good optical properties.All Braskem America production facilities are certified to produce bio, bio-circular, and circular polypropylene under the ISCC PLUS certification via the mass balance approach.

Braskem Inspire 6025N

Braskem R7021-50RNA polypropylene random copolymer (RCP) provides good impact properties, excellent optics, and fast cycle times. Braskem America R7021-50RNA

Braskem HDI2061 is a high density polyethylene (HDPE) for injection molding segment. By having good fluidity HDI20612 provides easy processability and high productivity combined with high rigidity and hardness. Braskem America HDI2061

Braskem America UTEC® 5540 is an Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene (UHMWPE) with a molecular weight about 10 times higher than High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) resins. Braskem TI4900M Polypropylene Impact Copolymer (ICP) provides very high flexural modulus and high melt flow. Applications and suggested uses include compounding, automotive interior trim, intricately designed parts and thin-walled parts.
